Deb Cotton has always loved art. All through her school years Deb was praised for her art and it became her major in high school. As a teenager, Deb painted large seasonal murals on restaurant windows. This led to her designing posters for restaurants, and helped her pay for her college courses. After college Deb worked in an office environment for several years, always staying in touch with her art by taking art classes and looking for extra opportunities that would allow her to use her art and design talents.
With 16 years of demonstrating acrylic painting, Deb decided to open her own business “Simply Cotton” approximately 10 years ago. Working from her home studio in the attic of her renovated farmhouse provides Deb not only with great lighting but also a wonderful view of their barn, fields and lake. The entire space is an inspiration on it’s own.
Deb still has time to travel teach and attend annual trade conventions each year, where she teach classes and hosts a booth with Princeton Brushes. Art has played a huge role in Deb’s life, bringing personal satisfaction from the art she creates and the joy it brings to others!
