Growing up in beautiful northeastern Minnesota, I had a carefree childhood, and have always loved to create things no matter the medium.
Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to do design work for large companies such as 3M imation, Polaris Industries, and The Paper Magic Group. I have also held the title of Art Director for two gift and stationery companies. My love is to create art in different mediums including acrylic, pastel as well as computer generated. Color is my greatest strength, and my style is generally more fun and whimsical but tends to be all over the board as I like to try new things.
I completely subscribe to the belief that if you do what you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. For so many years I loved what I did but it was not personally rewarding in a corporate environment. Now that I am doing design primarily for myself, I am finding that inspiration comes more easily in a relaxed environment. I love to have carte blanche and am also happy to take direction if requested for specific projects.
Photography is also a love of mine. I’m enjoying learning new techniques and finding my style. I love journalistic style portrait photography, especially children, capturing true expression and imagination.
