Joan Beiriger is a northern California self-taught artist who has dabbled in arts and crafts all her life. She spent over 20 years creating needle art for publications and kit manufacturers. In the late 1990s, Joan started painting and has since produced a robust body of art created for products.
Joan’s art style ranges from detailed and realistic to colorful and playful to graceful and simple designs. Her art is available in a wide variety of collections from Christmas to everyday art themes. She particularly loves to paint flowers, butterflies and small animals which is reflected in many of her designs. Joan loves to create art for products and as she says, “I am continually searching the internet, trade shows, retail stores, and publications for current and future trends to make my art fresh and new.”
All of Joan’s art is in Adobe Photoshop® layered files so that she can edit and format them to manufacturer’s specifications. She is especially proficient in creating patterns, borders and product mock-ups because of her computer expertise.
