Linda Goodrow was born and raised in the Toronto area where she obtained a business degree from Ryerson P.I. After working for several years, Linda put her career on hold to raise her two young children. Wanting to capture their antics on film led her to an interest and hobby in photography.
In 1993, Linda returned to the workforce and acquired a position as an Art Director for a stationery manufacturing company. In this capacity, Linda has developed relationships with fine artists and publishers, learned the intricacies of the printing process and has designed new products for the retail gift marketplace. Knowledge and skills gained from her work as an Art Director has served as a valuable foundation for her new work in photography.
Realizing a lifelong dream of traveling to Africa was the catalyst for Linda to take her photography to the next level. Upon her return from Africa, she published a book of her African photographs, and had a successful solo exhibition.
Linda continues to work as an Art Director, while also pursuing her budding career in wildlife photography, with plans for a return trip to Africa, hopefully followed by a journey to Manitoba to photograph polar bears.
