About the Artist

Valorie Evers Wenk captures a rich sense of color and image as she paints the life she loves. Growing up in the rural northeast has given Valorie a vast array of wonderful memories from which to draw.

“The old farmhouse my husband and and I bought gave us lots of ‘on the job’ training as we plunged in with both feet and naive enthusiasm to learn how to build and remodel, garden, make cheese and maple syrup, split firewood, and milk goats. Along with raising two children, we tended goats, chickens, geese, rabbits, bees, cats, and dogs.”
