One of the things you notice about Patti’s work is her variety of imagery. She loves painting animals, people and flora. She also has a love for color, both brilliant and subtle, and works in a variety of media.
Patti Graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design. She started her art career in advertising as an illustrator. She continues this work in New York and then moved to San Francisco, where she worked as a freelance illustrator before becoming an art director at an embossed greeting card company. She then became an art director for Portal Publications, a print and card publisher.
After a few years of art directing it was time to get the brushes out again; Patti began painting and licensing her work to a wide variety of clients. Her paintings can be seen on gift bags, greeting cards, prints and holiday decor as well as in books and magazines.
For the past few years Patti has been painting out of her studio in the Santa Cruz mountains.
